Overview

In his two years at Rosetta, Maneesh has worked on projects for cruise lines, newspapers, software companies, and most recently with a retail bank. Maneesh has been able to leverage his undergraduate marketing education, while developing a variety of new skills in areas such as data management and interpretation, written communications, client management, and project management. His most notable projects have been building the market segmentation for a river cruise line and developing the five-year launch plan for an Internet bank. After starting at Rosetta as an Associate Consultant in 2004, he was promoted to Consultant in 2005.

 

Although I've had experience across two other verticals in my two years at Rosetta (Digital Media & Telecommunications and Travel & Leisure), I am now in the Financial Services vertical. The ability to rotate across verticals has exposed me to a variety of project types, clients, and team membersall of which have taught me many skills and presented intriguing challenges in my short career. I am the primary analytical contact on an engagement, as I handle the data analysis and interpretation. Because Rosetta's focus is on data-driven marketing recommendations, my role is one of the most important in the company.

 

In addition to driving the data analysis and interpretation, Consultants also get the opportunity to develop client leadership skillsI've led many discussions with clients on various topics, such as next steps on a project or questions about how to interpret data. More recently, I've had opportunities to present sections of a presentation at client meetings. We also help the Directors and Associate Partners with the content of presentations, as they rely on us to be the experts on the data.

 

My most recent project has been working on the launch plan for an Internet bank. We're developing this from the ground up by assessing the competitive landscape, determining the suite of launch products, and creating the business and marketing plans. We are also using Rosetta's proprietary retail banking segmentation structure to recommend the initial targets, offer choices, and messaging tactics at launch. I'm really excited to see this when it rolls outthere is nothing better than seeing how the fruits of your labor lead to a client's success in the marketplace.

 

The reason that I love working at Rosetta is that the growth opportunities here are tremendous. We work directly with Partners who have years of relevant industry experience, and that accelerates our career development more quickly than you can imagine. In just two years, I've gained as much experience as many of my friends who have worked for three or four years, which I know I could never have gained had I worked elsewhere.
