Director
Overview
The Director is the day-to-day client manager, bridging the analytical contributions of Consultants and Associate Consultants with the client's objectives. The Director derives key insights from the analysis and develops and presents recommendations and conclusions for clients and provides support to the Associate Partner and/or Partner in managing client requests and inquiries. The primary role for the Director is to ensure that both the analytically based and marketing strategy-based deliverables of a project are met.
What You'll Do
The Director's primary responsibilities include:
- Becoming the primary "go to" contact for the client on project-related issues, particularly as relates to data results/analyses, and seeking opportunities to provide further client assistance and impact each step of the way in the project engagement
- Framing analyses and teaching Associate Consultants and Consultants how to extract insights from quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Identifying new insights that stimulate discussion and help clients to better understand their business problems
- Drafting initial presentations for discussion with the Associate Partner and/or Partner and playing an active role in client meetings
- Beginning to present findings at key client meetings
What Skills You'll Develop

- Refinement of written and oral communication skills
- Close interaction with Partners to discuss project and client management issues
- Management of the internal and external project team in order to frame project objectives, derive and apply insights from analysis, and define next steps
- Management of segment-based in-market sales and marketing programs across the four core channels of Web, phone, DM, and face-to-face selling
- Development of a knowledge base of differing approaches and techniques to manage project engagements

What Qualifications You'll Need
A Director is the key link between the client and the internal workings of the project. He/she advances new ideas and recommendations to the client, as a primary contact. There are several qualities Rosetta seeks in prospective applicants for this position:
- At least 4 years of relevant, professional experience
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Desire to act as the primary contact behind the Associate Partner and/or Partner on the internal project and to serve as the key liaison with the client
- Ability to synthesize client needs with analytical findings
- Ability to work with, coach, and manage junior staff
