Hari Mahadevan, PhD
Managing Partner, Healthcare Vertical Leader
Dr. Mahadevan leads the Healthcare vertical for Rosetta. He has almost two decades of experience in various leadership roles across virtually the entire pharmaceutical business system ― including process/clinical development, commercialization, manufacturing, marketing, and high-level corporate business unit strategy. Hari is also a Fellow at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he designed and teaches a class on Healthcare Marketing to 2nd year MBA students.
Hari joined Rosetta from McKinsey & Company where he focused exclusively on serving pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device clients in the areas of marketing commercialization, growth strategy, M&A, and R&D Manufacturing productivity. Prior to McKinsey, Hari helped create, lead, and grow a technical division at Celgene Corporation. In the early 1990s, Hari led drug development efforts at Merck & Company when, as part of Merck Research Laboratories, he was awarded multinational patents on the process used to develop and manufacture Merck's blockbuster anti-hypertensive drugs, Cozaar® and Hyzaar®.
Hari has an MBA in Health Care Management from the Wharton School of Business and a PhD in Chemical Engineering.
